Warfare: An Invention-Not A Biological Weapon
In this article, Margaret Mead is trying to figure out where warfare comes from. Is it natural, cultural, or just a drive we have. I think that's warfare is inevitable when developing land structures, or dividing land, etc. I think that warfare comes from history and not just someone's natural instict. Warfare will not go away as long as there are social classes and unequal countries, etc. Mead also says that warfare is like an invention that affects people's lives just like marriage because people are sent out and could possibly be killed. I agree that warfare is an invention. It might have been around for a really long time but it didn't come along until one group of people wanted to be above another.
